Announcements
August is marked by diversity in worship - We
are challenged to pay attention and step out of
our "routine". Service of the Word on
August 1 and 15 bring different preaching
perspectives, our Annual Outdoor Worship Service
is scheduled on August 8 with a second
Contemporary Service of Holy Communion on August
22. A a traditional Service of Holy
Communion winds up the month.
This week!! Vacation Bible School for
children and youth - Great Bible Adventures in
partnership with St Stephens. This year at St
Stephens on Virginia Street, Beckley - evenings
Monday through Thursday.
If
you have extra vegetables to share from your
gardens, feel free to bring them to share - you may
place them in the narthex, during the summer months,
for folks to partake.
There
is still weeding to be done in the flower beds on
the right side of the church. The mulch can't
go down, until it is completed! If you are
interested in helping, you may come at any time to
weed! Please see Pastor Wanda if you have questions.
